SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sen. John Thune is back in South Dakota after becoming ill yesterday and leaving before the Phase 3 vote in the U.S. Senate.
He is at home and his condition has improved.

Sen. Thune arrived in South Dakota yesterday evening and has been at home where he continues to monitor his symptoms. His condition has improved, and he has been in touch with his personal physician again today. Consistent with what he was told yesterday, there’s currently no need to take additional action, but he will remain at home and follow his doctor’s recommendations.
