Coronavirus uncertainty will not stop The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion from being open for play. Well, starting Monday.
But the course on Friday issued a release saying it is taking the COVID-19 “situation seriously and taking precautions to protect your health.”
All items on the course that may come in contact with multiple players are removed. There will be no bunker rakes, ball washers, or water coolers available.
“We also encourage everyone to keep the flag stick in when they are putting,” the course wrote.
Like most businesses still open, areas of public access will be sanitized more frequently.
“We will do our part to contain the virus if you do yours.”
Instead of just showing up and hoping to tee off, The Bluffs asks golfers to call for a tee-time before you come to the course. This will assure that you are best informed of the operating situation.
And of course, the course reminds everyone to frequently wash their hands and not show up if you are sick.
