SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — The phased reopening of Siouxland Libraries’ branches will continue this week.
To protect the health of the public while also offering services and programs, Siouxland Libraries continues to reopen its buildings and amenities in a phased manner.
Staff welcome customers for “grab and go” service that includes browsing the collection, picking up requests, and checking out materials.
- · June 22: Prairie West Branch—Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
- · June 22: Oak View Branch—Monday through Friday, 1–5 p.m.
- · June 23: Baltic Branch—Tuesdays, 3–6 p.m.; Thursdays, 3–6 p.m.
- · June 23: Garretson Branch—Tuesdays, 2–5:30 p.m.; Fridays, 9 a.m.–12 noon
- · June 24: Crooks Branch—Wednesdays, 10 a.m.–12 noon; Fridays, 2–4 p.m.
- · June 24: Colton Branch—Wednesdays, 3–5 p.m.
- · June 25: Valley Springs Branch—Thursdays, 3–6 p.m.
- · June 26: Humboldt Branch—Fridays, 3–5 p.m.
The following branches opened earlier:
- · Downtown Library—Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
- · Ronning Branch—Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
- · Caille Branch—Monday through Friday, 1 p.m.–5 p.m.
- · Brandon Community Library—Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, 9 a.m.–12 noon
Changes have been made to mitigate the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19.
Most notably, children’s play areas and meeting and study rooms will remain closed.
Seating areas, computers, and on-premises programs remain suspended for the time being.
Curbside pickup of requests continues at all locations.
Book drops are open for returns.
