WASHINGTON (KELO.com) — The Senate Armed Services Committee approves the seven hundred forty billion-dollar “National Defense Authorization Act” last week, funding the military for the next year.
Senator Mike Rounds, a member of the Committee, says it’s part of a continuing strategy.
Rounds says the US can’t afford to fall behind in military readiness.
He says funding for the next-generation bomber is included.
The B-21 is scheduled to be housed at Ellsworth Airforce Base near Rapid City.
