A Veblen, South Dakota woman is convicted of defrauding the local Head Start Association of money.
Renee K. Olson, 57, was sentenced in federal court to 8 months of home confinement and five years of probation for her mail fraud conviction.
She’s also ordered to repay over $24,000 in restitution.
Prosecutors say she collected checks for training and put the money in her own bank account.
