PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — Governor Kristi Noem says she is pleased to see schools developing plans to reopen in the fall.
She says they lost track of a significant number of students when schools switched to e-learning.
Noem is also concerned about social issues that have surfaced during the pandemic.
She believes having the students back in school would be helpful in holding guardians responsible for taking care of the youngsters’ needs.
