The Sioux Falls Downtown Rotary Club hosts a virtual discussion on race and law enforcement from noon to 1 p.m. today.
Featured speakers will be Sioux Falls Police Lt. Jon Thum and African-American entrepreneur and community leader Vaney Hariri.

Rotary International describes itself as a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. As leaders in Sioux Falls, we feel it is important for our club to be part of the conversation happening around the world currently regarding racism in America. Downtown Rotarian Vaney Hariri will join Sioux Falls Police Lieutenant Jon Thum for a thoughtful conversation to promote understanding and change in our community.
