PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — Two South Dakotans have died from the coronavirus.
One of the victims lived in Minnehaha County, the other in Pennington County.
That brings the state’s death toll to 64 deaths.
The department of health also says the asymptomatic rate is just over 10%. Officials expect that rate to increase with more testing.
There were 87 new positive cases and 79 recoveries.
There have 5,247 positive cases.
86 people are currently in hospital.
47,376 have tested negative.
