HARRISBURG, S.D. (KELO.com) — Harrisburg, South Dakota gets a new mayor.
According to unofficial results, Derick Wenck defeated Stefanie Bergsmith 617 votes to 147 votes.
Wenck will replace Julie Burke-Van Luvanee who has held the office since 2012.
Burke-Van Luvanee did not run for reelection.
