SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — In a Facebook post, The Sioux Falls School District wanted to remind parents that two vaccinations were still mandatory in light of the COVIID-19 pandemic for incoming middle school students.
The two vaccinations consist of one dose of the Tdap vaccine (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis); AND one dose of MCV4 (meningococcal vaccine). The Sioux Falls School District informed parents that they have been in communication with community healthcare providers to discuss immunizations and pre-participation physical evaluations. They also assured that measures to protect against COVID-19 are being taken for those in need of vaccinating.
