SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A 23-year-old Sioux Falls man sits in jail on rape and other charges.
Police say that Alex Bradley McIlvenna raped and assaulted a woman while they stayed under the underpass at Minnesota Avenue and I-229.
The woman was able to pull out a knife and cut McIlvenna during the assault.
She says he had also raped her earlier.
McIlvenna is charged with second-degree rape, sexual contact without consent, and aggravated assault domestic.
