DES MOINES, IA (KELO.com) — As of 9:00 a.m. Friday, July 10th, 33,597 people have been infected with the novel coronavirus in the Hawkeye State.
Of those infections, 711 are new over the last 24-hours, since 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 9th.
So far, 25,741 recoveries have been recorded, with 742 deaths due to the disease, up 3 people since yesterday.
The number of recoveries now 476 people lower than it was yesterday at this time.
The above numbers add up to 7,114 active COVID infections statewide.
