FARGO (KFGO) – Sanford Health says a patient who showed symptoms consistent with influenza and respiratory viruses and had traveled recently was screened for Coronavirus in Fargo.
After speaking with the state health department, Sanford says the patient did not meet current CDC guidelines for further testing. Sanford says its staff took appropriate measures to ensure the safety of patients and employees.
The risk of Coronavirus is believed to be low for people who are traveling to other parts of the world, with the exception of China where the virus originated.
