WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO.com) — Many House members have been giving their opinions on whether witnesses ought to be called at the impeachment trial, but not Dusty Johnson.
The Congressman wants to leave it to the Senators.
“I think they are really in the best position, the Senate, to determine what witnesses they need to make their decisions moving forward, so, I leave that in the capable hands of the Senate.”
Johnson tells Kelo.com News that the Senators have been working 12 hours a day on the impeachment trial, so basically, witnesses or no witnesses is their call, not his.
Many House Democrats want John Bolton to testify. Some House Republicans want Hunter Biden, or even Joe Biden to testify.
