WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO.com) — Senator Mike Rounds is keeping quiet and taking lots of notes at the Trump impeachment trial.
In a Facebook update, Rounds says Senators are basically obeying the rules not to talk and just listen, but some of them whisper sometimes.
“The vast majority of the members, Republican and Democrat alike, have been pretty quiet and they have been paying attention. They get a little frustrated once and awhile when they hear the same thing over and over again.”
Rounds is writing a lot.
“I normally don’t take lots of notes, but in this case, this is of historical value….I wanted my own record of it,” as Rounds shows some of the handwritten pages of notes, dozens of pages, so far.
