PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) –The State House had it’s first floor debate of the 95th session today in Pierre.
HB1005, an act to revise certain provisions regarding the use of telehealth technologies cleared the House Health and Human Services Committee Tuesday and arrived for debate on the floor of the full House Wednesday.
HB1005 was the result of a mental health summer study committee and was sponsored by Rep. Herman Otten of Lennox.
The bill passed the House with no opposition and will now be sent to the Senate for consideration.
Wednesday was the 6th Legislative Day of 37 scheduled for the 95th Session of the South Dakota State Legislature in Pierre.
