SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Minnehaha County Highway Department is pulling its plows off the roads for the rest of Saturday. They say that “the winds are too high and the roads are too hazardous for us to be productive.” Large V-plows are being installed on some of the trucks on Saturday in order to break through some of the drifts on Sunday. The plan is to return to plowing at first light Sunday, weather permitting.
