MADISON, S.D. (KELO.com) — One man died Friday night in a one-vehicle crash south of Madison.
The name of the deceased is not yet being released.
A 2005 GMC Sierra was southbound on South Dakota Highway 19 when the driver lost control on the slippery roadway. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled.
The 39-year-old driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only occupant.
The South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
