SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — With cold weather on the way, Sioux Falls is waiving fees to ride city buses Thursday. City Paratransit rides will also be free.
“I want people in Sioux Falls to get where they need to be safely and warmly during the frigid temperatures tomorrow,” said Mayor Paul TenHaken in a release. “Bus rides will be free Thursday so that folks can escape the elements and not worry about the cost.”
Temperatures in Sioux Falls are expected to drop as low as -10 degrees Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
