RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO.com) — Governor Kristi Noem wants to take action to add more high paying jobs in South Dakota to keep kids from wanting to move out of state after graduation.
Noem is looking for bill sponsors to put together a bill that will enact a system of fair and predictable processes for getting new business projects cited and permitted.
Noem says this would be a bill that would eliminate red tape, and instead roll out the red carpet for out of state enterprises to move into South Dakota.
Noem spoke at the Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo on Friday.
