SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Royal River Casino and Hotel in Flandreau is temporarily closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A statement from Royal River said the hotel and the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Executive Committee “have made the difficult decision that it is in the best interest of our guests and team members to temporarily close the property” Tuesday night.
All entertainment acts at the casino are suspended through May 31. Tribute to Johnny Cash and BuckCherry shows have been rescheduled. Royal River is offering refunds to people who can’t make the shows.
