WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO.com) — South Dakota’s Dusty Johnson has blasted the Trump impeachment process in a speech on the House floor.
He says it’s not open, not transparent.
“Instead members have been denied access to witness testimony and kicked out of committees. There’s no live streaming, there’s no TV coverage.”
Johnson says he tries to avoid getting involved in what he calls the “political circus” in Washington but decided to make an exception.
He’s blasting Speaker Nancy Pelosi for refusing to hold a full House vote on the impeachment inquiry.
“That is unprecedented. Members have been denied their authority, their voice, their opportunity to be on the record in that matter.”
