SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are sorting out a messy situation in central Sioux Falls.
A man in the 2600 block of Duluth Avenue heard a guy trying to kick in his front door.
The man in the house grabbed his handgun and went outside and confronted the man who had a gun.
The man from the house fired his weapon.
The potential burglar got in a car and drove off.
Police heard the shot and arrested the guy who tried to kick in the door near 33rd Street and Summit.
The bad guy’s gun was a BB gun.
The gun the victim had was stolen.
Both the burglar and the victim are facing various charges.
