STURGIS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Portions of western South Dakota are in a near white-out from snow and wind.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation’s highway camera at Sturgis on Interstate 90 shows almost nothing but white at mid-afternoon.
Their cameras at Wall, Wasta, and Rapid City also show poor visibility.
The SDDOT tweeted:
- It may be moving slow, but conditions are continuing to deteriorate. We’re seeing lots of ice, snow, slush, limited visibility & it’s moving to the east. Give crews room to work, slow down, be prepared. Here’s some shots from Rapid City, Wasta & Sturgis.
