VERMILLION, S.D. (KELO.com) — If you think cops don’t have a sense of humor, you might want to read the Vermillion Police Department’s Twitter feed tonight and tomorrow during Dakota Days.
For the past few years, the Vermillion Police have made very non-Dragnet like entries about the craziness they encounter during the celebration of all things USD homecoming.
Tonight they tweeted, “Warm up the lumpy pillow, @ClayCountySO. Another one inbound.”
A few other assorted tweets:
- Multiple traffic stops in effect currently, and one officer just checked out to perform FST’s (field sobriety tests). We’re all for having fun, folks, but it’s a small town- just walk. #VPDLive
- Officers responding to McDonald’s to help remove belligerent subjects who won’t allow employees to close the lobby.
