SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — President Donald Trump’s approval rating is about 50-50 in South Dakota for the first time.
New data from Morning Consult put the president at 49% approval and 48% disapproval in the Mount Rushmore State, down from as high as 62% a few months after he took office.
Trump remains popular with his Republican base nationally; the survey says 82% of likely Republican primary voters approve of his job performance.
