SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls’ forecast:
Periods of patchy freezing drizzle will continue through the morning hours across the area before more widespread precipitation works in from the south late afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will be a couple of degrees either side of freezing during this time frame and thus a very cold rain or freezing rain will be possible.
A glaze to a tenth of an inch of ice is possible and thus slick roads and sidewalks are also expected.
