SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — This isn’t just the holiday season but the South Dakota legislative season as well.
Gov. Kristi Noem will present her fiscal year 2021 budget address to a joint session of the legislature on Tuesday, December 3rd.
The state legislature begins its work on January 14th, where the Governor will give her state of the state address.
The legislature’s joint appropriations committee has a number of meetings scheduled in December prior to the start of the 2021 legislative session.
In Minnesota, the Minnesota Management and Budget officials will present the State of Minnesota November Budget and Economic Forecast on Thursday, December 5th.
The last report in February showed a sluggish economy.
The agency then said slower projected economic growth and lower collections produced reduced revenue for the Gopher State.
