SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Minnehaha County Commission accepted State’s Attorney Aaron McGowan’s resignation this morning, effective Friday.
They also approved a one-time payment of $35,000 to McGowan in exchange of him not suing the county.
McGowan did not appear at today’s commission meeting.

He said he was resigning for health reasons and “unfair” newspaper articles.
