SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The South Dakota Department of Transportation advises motorists that the I-90 Exit 57 off-ramp will be closed from 8 pm Sunday to 5 am Monday.
That is near I-190 and U.S. 16 in Rapid City.
The contractor is beginning work on a High Friction Surface Treatment.
That helps prevent skidding and decreases wear and tear on the road.
It is typically used on curves.
SDDOT says two other night closures will also be needed.
