ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa (KELO.com) — The Iowa State Patrol and Lyon County Sheriff’s Office have released more information on the crash involving a Lyon County Sheriff’s Deputy on August 9.
According to the agencies, Deputy Stephanie Schreurs was the driver involved in the single-vehicle crash Friday. They go on to say that Deputy Schreurs remains at a Sioux Falls area hospital. The release asks area residents to please keep the Schreurs family and Lyon County Sheriff’s Office in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Authorities say the crash remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol and a technical collision investigation is being completed.
