Criticism is still building over Rep. Joaquin Castro’s doxxing of public citizens on Twitter.
Maggie Haberman at the New York Times and others have been piling on over Castro’s poor judgment.
You know it’s bad when even some at MSNBC are critical of Castro's decision.
“Morning Joe” co-anchor Willie Geist asked Castro what he’d say to those people who will be harassed for their support of President Trump.
“Well, the first thing is I don’t want anybody harassed or targeted…”, Castro began.
“But they will be,” Geist interrupted, “because you put their names in public.”
Castro repeated, “That was not my intention.”
“But that’s what will happen,” Geist said.
One of Castro’s financial supporters was among the names on the list.
Wayne Harwell told Fox News he donated money to Castro’s congressional campaign. But Harwell says that after Castro outed him, he won't be supporting Castro anymore.
Fox News: Joaquin Castro outed one of his own donors in bid to shame Trump supporters
“I was also on a list of people that gave to Castro and if he dislikes me enough that he wants to put my name out there against Trump, I’m not going to give money to him,” Harwell said.
The headline of a column today by Elizabeth Harrington perhaps says it best,
“The 'Hate Trump' agenda by the Democrats has gone way too far”
