In this hour—we know workforce and education are big deals. They are front and center.
Vaney Hariri—Think 3D Solutions—is a Sioux Falls Friend for many while he works as a consultant as well for big companies across the mid-west.
Today we’ll talk with him about the Sioux Falls Development Foundations Win Conference staged in Sioux Falls last week. The concern “workforce” how you get them – how you treat them – how you can grow and keep them. Vaney was a key part of the session.
In the planning stage—October 30 th —Culture Con—already a full house —and plans to work with the issues—the integration of those from different origins — and what to do about it in the future. Vaney has big players involved and I get to help close the door in the Question and Answer segment.
This morning you’ll meet John Etreim—a keynoter for the South Dakota Manufacturing and Technology event on September 12 th .
Candi Briley—is the clock-watcher—and the ring-master for the South Dakota State Fair that opens in Huron tomorrow with premier day. We’ll talk about the building celebrating 100 years on the fairgrounds—an aerial act by the hair—and some new food to sample—plenty of German, Cheese curds—food on a stick, cheese curds, and smoked chicken legs.
9:32—you’ll meet two of the 144 entrants in the 4 th Annual Symetra Event—at Willow Run. Yes it’s a Great Life Stage—which is the 2 nd highest paying LPGA Symetra start on the season long tour. You’ll meet Karolina Vlckova—number one in total events played—and has 3 top 10’s. Was a University of Florida Student athlete—born in the Czech Republic.
And Charlotte Thomas—#13 on the money list— the top 10 get LPGA cards after the final event coming up in September. She was a part of the University of Washington Women’s Golf National Champions in 2016. During her Huskie career she became the school’s number 1 all-time player with 25 top 10’s.
What about the future for the Symetra Tour. Tom Walsh who took a chance on this with a push by the golf community and the Convention and Visitors Bureau will join us Friday as we do our show from 9-11 from Willow Run.
