9:45—Eric Fosheim—SD Dept of Ag Development
Division –shares with us projects he’s been working on—including Agropur Cheese
Plant in Lake Norden—tripling its production capacity to more than 9 million
pounds of milk processed daily—and with the expansion –the need for 85,000
new dairy cows in South Dakota. The new Seaboard Triumph Pork Plant in Sioux
City has the capacity to process 20,000 pigs per day and it has given the pork
industry new opportunities. And we’ll talk about the new turkey hatchery slated
to open this fall in Beresford.

Nebraska—the Monsanto Drought Research Center.

speaker at the South Dakota Manufacturers’ Day Summit in September. He will be
presenting on “How to End your Salesforce/CRM Drudgery. His session will
uncover how new Artificial Intelligence technology will change how salespeople
interact with Customers.

Riding home in the last quarter hour—we’ll
visit with Colt Clark—who set the stage on fire in January when he was part of
the panel that interviewed Secretary of Agriculture Mike Jaspers, the Mayor
Mike Huether, and even Jim Woster. Colt with one of his rabbits he’ll show
tomorrow will be back on stage—probably with another young exhibitor to talk
about why this farm/fair experience is so big for them.
