<strong>
We’ll share those—as well as Darren
Hefty—who has some concerns from his AG PHD view that has white mold for

We had lots of great guests in ag this week.
But one that jumped out as we interviewed 40 or guests this week. He is Justin
Goetz 17 year old in the Selby Area—helps the family with 300-500 head of
cattle—has attended 11 Farm Camps and was elected to 6 meet National Farmers
Union Youth Council. He understands that you give back to the community – and at
the same time wants to help pass the ag torch to the next generation. His goal
is to go to Harvard – double major and then become a Lawyer..you’ll hear him at
10:19.
</strong>
</p>
<p>
<strong>
The Farm Reporters—Rick Shields—and Sarah
Heinrich—from our Midwest Communication Stations share farm stuff we shouldn’t
miss around the half hour.
</strong>
</p>
<p>
<strong>
Scott Varilek – Kooima Kaemingk Commodities
has the market update at 10:33.
</strong>
</p>
<p>
<strong>
Housing is a big deal—and as we reported on
our Report Card Show Monday—the demand is far out pacing the supply. One
option Nielsen Construction—check out these Sunday open houses with ranch
homes and slabs on grade at Westward Estates. Lexie and I talk about the things
they offer that could grab your attention. They had 12 units—9 are left—and
they want you to check in.
</strong>
</p>
<p>
<strong>
10:46—we’ll talk with Austin Eggebraaten—Committee
Chair for Hartford Area Fire and Rescue—holding their 4
<sup>
th
</sup>
Annual
Street Dance 9-1 Saturday in Hartford.
</strong>
</p>
<p>
<strong>
The Band Dustin Evans and Good Times will
sing it out so that the community can purchase a Life Pak 15 AED (Automated
External Defibrillator) for the area they serve.
</strong>
</p>
<p>
<strong>
On the average – they respond to 275 calls
per year—about 80% of those are medical calls and the remainder are fire calls.
</strong>
</p>
<p>
<strong>
The Department serves the largest area
(number of square miles) of all the services in Minnehaha County. The funding
comes from the city of Hartford, townships served and donations.
</strong>
</p>
<p>
<strong>
Last stop is Sioux Falls Golf—Justin Arlt—helps
us give away 2 rounds of golf a Sioux Falls Golf course—Prairie Green,
Elmwood, or Kuehn Park.
</strong>
</p>
<p>
<strong>
We’ll talk about the year—how you can get
on the course quickly— and what to expect when you make a call to the
Landscape Golf Courses. City Championships are scheduled as well as other
tournament opportunities.
</strong>
</p>
<p>
<strong>
Our show is available by podcast—Norm
Anderson sees to that.
</strong>
