SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sanfords new CEO Bill Gassen wasted little time in selecting new personnel to spearhead key executive leadership roles since his appointment.
Chief medical officer Dr. Allison Suttle, who has held the position since 2015 will now be replaced with Dr. Jeremy Cauwels, who will enter the role under the new designation of chief physician, Cauwels formerly served as senior vice president of clinic quality.
Micah Aberson will serve as executive vice president overlooking Sanford’s Foundation, marketing, public policy, business development, innovation, Sanford Health Plan, and Sanford Sports.
Matt Hocks as chief operating officer, Bill Marlette, chief financial officer, and treasurer.
Darren Walker will take on the title of chief people officer, Jennifer Grennan, as the health systems chief legal officer, and Nathan Peterson as chief of staff.
Gassen was appointed Sanfords new CEO in late November after the organization amicably parted ways with former long time CEO Kelby Krebbenhoft.
