SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – South Dakota cattle producers are questioning the Trump Administration move to allow over 600-million pounds of beef imports at a reduced-tariff rate.
Producers have seen prices they receive dip since the announcement, but consumers have seen little difference in prices at the store – which was the intended impact.
Farmers and ranchers are pushing for Country of Origin Labeling so consumers know where the beef they buy was raised and processed.
