BRANDON, S.D. (KELO.com) – No one was injured in a house fire on the east side of Brandon early yesterday morning.
The home was not occupied at the time.
A number of area fire departments responded to the blaze.
Sioux Falls fire and Rescue were also busy responding to a house fire in the 2800 block of West 39th street yesterday afternoon.
One resident was evaluated for smoke inhalation.
Crews knocked down the flames within five minutes.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue would like to remind residents to make sure they have functioning smoke detectors.
