SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Sioux Falls Stampede will host its annual Military Appreciation Night next Saturday, December 12 at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
The South Dakota Army National Guard will be present and hold a pregame flag ceremony, while members of the Guard repel from the rafters of the PREMIER Center for a special ceremonial puck drop. The players will wear military-themed jerseys and fans will have the opportunity to win a specialty jersey in a DASH online auction to benefit Warriors Never Give Up. For the first time in team history, fans will be able to place bids on their favorite player jersey prior to the game beginning on December 10 at 5 p.m. CT through Sunday, December 13 at 8 p.m. CT.
Warriors Never Give Up, a non-profit organization that specializes in offering outdoor adventures for combat deployed or service-connected disabled veterans across the greater Sioux Empire.
