SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — According to statistics compiled by the Associated General Contractors, from October 2019 to 2020, Sioux Falls lost 200 construction jobs.
That was a 2% decrease in construction and related workers (mining and logging) year over year.
Meanwhile, Rapid City saw a growth of 400 construction and related workers, an 8% increase.
That ranked Rapid City as having 19th best percentage increase in the nation.
Overall, South Dakota saw an 11% increase in construction and related jobs over the period.
