SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Over 30 businesses will host special deals, promotions, and activities for the eleventh annual Small Business Saturday in Downtown Sioux Falls set for the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 28, 2020.
Downtown Sioux Falls, Inc. is joining the nationwide movement to encourage holiday shoppers to shop small and support local communities with Small Business Saturday. According to a 2018 Small Business Economic Impact Study, local businesses bring higher-quality products, provide excellent customer service, foster a sense of community pride, and an average of $0.67 spent at small businesses stays in the community.
“Shopping local is not only a great way to support friends, family, or neighbors who own small businesses, it’s a great way to win Christmas by purchasing gifts that likely can’t be found anywhere else!” said Joe Batcheller, DTSF President.
