SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Teachers in the Sioux Falls School District are generally happy with their position. According to a teacher survey, the number of staff members willing to recommend the district as a good workplace is on the rise. Results were presented to the School Board Monday night by Doug Morrison, the director of Data Services. He says the survey also shows areas of concern, that might cause staff members to leave the district. “You would see pay as one of the top reasons – workload and time pressure, high stress environment.” Student and parent surveys are also being conducted.
