SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls residents will elect a new mayor this year. Five candidates are on the ballot, and this week we’ll hear from those candidates. State legislator and former Democratic candidate for governor Jamie Smith says one of his main priorities is dealing with homelessness. “We’ve got to do something about homelessness in our city. We’re far too rich a city to have as many people as we have in this community that don’t have a place to live.
