MCCOOK LAKE, SD (KELO.com) — Nearly two years after a devastating flood, the McCook Lake Association is refilling the lake with water from the Missouri River. The water level is now about seven feet below its normal depth of ten feet. The level will rise about two inches per day as it’s refilled. Officials are hoping to have it ready for recreational use by Memorial Day weekend.
