Viewers have spotted three eagle chicks in the DNR’s EagleCam nest. Bald eagles lay a maximum of three eggs per clutch, with only one brood per season, so officials aren’t expecting to see any more. The chicks are about four days old, and will reach up to three pounds within three weeks. Within a few weeks, they begin standing, moving around the nest and feeding themselves, reaching about 60% of their adult size by late April or early May.
