PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota legislators are getting a fresh look at revenues for the coming budget year. Wednesday morning, Legislative Research Council Fiscal Chief Jeff Mehlhaff told legislators South Dakotans can expect to receive income tax refunds of up to a thousand dollars higher than normal because of tax law changes. Mehlhaff says that extra money will translate into 10.3-million dollars for the state’s General Fund.
