SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A word to the wise if you’re thinking of getting behind the wheel impaired by drugs or alcohol – get a ride. The Sioux Falls Police Department is launching ‘Project Zero’, partnering with Sheriff’s Departments in Lincoln and Minnehaha Counties and the Highway Patrol in a campaign to eliminate impaired driving. Lieutenant Andrew Siebenborn says that should make potential violators nervous. The effort is being supported by a grant from the Office of Highway Safety.
