POTTER COUNTY, SD (KELO.com) — Game, Fish and Parks reports a Golden Eagle was shot in Potter County last week. It had shotgun pellets in one of its wings and was taken to a rehab facility. The eagle will remain in captivity for the rest of its life because of the injuries. Golden Eagles are protected. Contact South Dakota Turn in Poachers if you have any information.
