BLACK HILLS, SD (KELO.com) — They’re moving mountains to rebuild U-S Highway 385 through the central Black Hills. According to South Dakota News Watch, Engineers say the three year project is running close to the planned schedule. It’s expected to be completed in 2027. Residents and business owners in the area say the parts completed so far indicate the wait will be worth it.
