Washington D.C. (KELO.com) — Affordability is the key word of the day in Washington, with Republicans and Democrats saying they have the plan that will get us there. Senate Majority Leader John Thune made the GOP case on the Senate Floor, saying the Republican majority delivered on tax relief in the One Big Beautiful Bill. For Democrats, the issue is tied to their efforts to extend Obamacare premium tax credits. Those efforts so far haven’t been successful.
